Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about ShootLog — features, beta access, and how it works.

What is ShootLog?
ShootLog is a digital shooting logbook. You log sessions, series, scores, and shot grouping — then see trends and personal bests over time.
What metrics can I track?
Score, shot grouping (mm/inches), MOA, distance, drill type, and training frequency. Filter by gun, distance, or target type.
Do I need to take photos of my targets?
No. Photos are optional. You can log everything manually and add photos later if you want.
Is ShootLog available on iPhone?
Yes. ShootLog is available as a free beta on iOS via TestFlight. Android is coming soon.
Does ShootLog support dry fire training?
Yes. ShootLog includes a dry fire module with structured exercises, timer, reps tracking, and session history.
Is ShootLog free?
The beta is completely free. We'll introduce optional premium features later, but core tracking will always be free.
